Jammu, Mar 28: ‘The state-of-the-art ‘Water Sports Centre Basholi,' announced under the Prime Minister Development Package (PMDP) in 2016 and implemented by the Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, will be open for water sports activities by June of this year.
Sarwar Mehmood, Executive Engineer of the premier sports body, informed the media that the Water Sports Centre at the bank of Ranjit Sagar Dam, including the main building, setting tiers, changing room, manager room, canteen, boat shed, and living room, has already been completed under the Prime Minister Development Package of Rs 3-crore.
“Just finishing works on these facilities are pending, and hopefully, all of these works will be completed within three months, and the facilities will be declared open for operations in June of this year,” he said
