Kuku, Asima to represent J&K in Oct 1 Hockey India elections

, Sept 12: Senior vice president of the Hockey Jammu and and advocate Asima Ali have been nominated to represent J&K unit in the
October one elections of the Hockey at New Delhi.
This was decided in the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Hockey J&K that took place at KK Hakhu Stadium, here. The meeting was chaired by
president of the Association, Rajeev Sharma and attended besides the office bearers and executive members.
Rajeev Sharma stressed upon to register on MU portal of Hockey India and said that no unregistered player will be allowed participate in the trials for
and camps. He asked all the units to implement instructions of J&K Sports Council and informed that payments will be made through digital mode
only.
Earlier, secretary general, Dr Taran Singh welcomed the members and point wise agenda was taken up. He presented the report on Hockey activities by
Hockey J&K. Treasurer of the Hockey J&K, Anjali Thakur presented the accounts for 2021-22.
Among those who attended the meeting were Jameel Mustafa (senior vice president), Rajinder Singh Kuku (senior vice president),
Manbeer Kour, Randeep Singh, Gurpreet Singh (all vice presidents), Dr Karanbir Singh (secretary), Hardeep Singh (joint secretary), Jagjeet
Kour (joint secretary), Anjali Thakur (treasurer), Tejinder Singh, Priyanka Singh (both resident secretary), Supinder Singh Bakshi,
Sameer Ahmad Najjar, Gurmeet Singh (both member executive), Robin Singh, Syed Talib Hussain, Ishan Sharma, Ravinder Singh, Jaspreet Singh,
Shelav Sharma, Khalid Bashir, Binod Singh and Baljit Kour.
Later, general secretary Hockey J&K, Dr Taran Singh presented vote of thanks.
