Deputy Commissioner, Mohammed Aijaz Asad, today inaugurated a medical camp under mission Indradhanush in the district which was aimed to ensure vaccination to the children of slum areas.
This Universal Immunization program would provide life-saving vaccines to the children across the nation free of cost to protect them against the following diseases like diphtheria, whooping cough, tetanus, poliomyelitis, tuberculosis, measles and Hepatitis B, the DC informed.
Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Suresh Gupta, informed that the health department in Rajouri district will cover the left out unvaccinated areas through 84 sessions in 7 days.
