College organizes Writing, Painting Competition

Jammu Tawi, Aug 26: Govt. M.A.M College organized Essay Writing and Painting Competition
on the topic “Yaad Karo Kurbani” to celebrate Independence ‘70'. The
focus of the programme was to make students aware about the
sacrifices made during the freedom struggle. The function was
organized as per directions of the Ministry for Human Resource
Development to make the students understand the hard work gone
into making of our country and their responsibility towards this
freedom.Dr. Romesh Chander, Principal of the college was the chief guest on the
occasion. About twenty students participated in the event and
showcased their creative skills. The Principal reiterated the importance
of the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters who laid down their lives
for the future generations. The programme was organized by Dr.
Banpreet Kour and Dr. Shalini Sharma.Prof. Neelu Gupta, Prof. Sangeeta Sudan, Prof. Muzzamil Hussain andProf. Sujat Khan also graced the occasion.
