Katra, Aug 26: An emergent meeting of J&K Sangram Sena was held at Jammu on today under the Chairmanship of R.R. President of the Sena in which the working body members of the Sangram Sena Katra in which the working body members of the Sangram Sena Katra, were present. During the meeting various issues of Katra were discussion with regard to pilgrimage visiting to Mata Vaishno Devi Sthan.
He said that appeal was made before the Government for construction of Main Bus Stand Chowk, and installation of statue of Pandit Shridhar within the Main Bus Stand Chowk. He further added that the Local Body Kara has constructed and developed the Bus Stand Katra Chowk as per the desired plan, but now statue of Pandit Shridhar is to be installed with the Chowk, so that the yatries visiting the Mata Vaishno Devi Asthapan, can get the knowledge of Pandit Shridhar who got the divine vision of Mata Vaishno Devi in initial stage, thereafter Pandit Shridhar rendered his completed life in the service of Mata Vaishno Devi.
He appealed and urged upon the Dy. Chief Minister, Nirmal Singh to accord orders of installation of statue of Pandit Shridhar in Katra Chowk, so that sentiments of devotees and the public are preserved.
