J&K hosts National Wushu Champ at Srinagar

, Sept 11: Wushu Association of Jammu and has been allotted with the 31st Senior Wushu
Championship for Srinagar in Kashmir Division of UT of J&K.
The event shall take place at S K Indoor Stadium, Srinagar from October 28 to October 31. A decision to allot J&K the
prestigious event was taken in he AGM of Wushu Association of in March last.
Now, to raise the J&K team for the upcoming event, Wushu Association of J&K shall hold selection trials from tomorrow.
The two-day selection process for the J&K team shall be held at Polo Ground Srinagar, a handout issued by the Association
here today informed.
The Association has constituted a seven members selection committee led by Dronacharya Kuldeep Handoo. Other
members of the selection penal included Maqsood Rather, Ajaz Hassan, Nissar Mir, Kamal Kishore, Lalit Singh and Ramees
Ahmed.
