Without evidence Geelani claims use of chemical weapons by security forces in Kashmir

Date:

, July 10 (KIP):-If he leads the ongoing Jihad he does so openly
and does not hide things. That is Syed Ali shah Geelani who heads a
conglomerate of hardliners among the separatists. Hitherto, G                                                                                                                                       eelani has
not lied and has been in the forefront of those seeking implementation
of the UN resolution on Kashmir.

However, he has lied and then way he has lied is a blunder on
his part because the knows that there  were protests against use
of pellt guns against the protesters.Even there was demand for using
rubber bullets and the demand has been fulfilled.

In fact the security forces, operating in Jammu and Kashmir want to
use minimum of force to meet  a tough challenge from the stone
throwers..And when the going becomes difficult the security forces
resort to teargas shelling or  open fire in which several people get
injured. But the Hurriyat (G) leader Geelani has fabricated a tale with
which he wants to convince the OIC

Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Syed Ali Geelani  has  raised the
issue of use of chemical weapons allegedly by the Army against
militants during gunfights with the Organization of Islamic
Cooperation (OIC).

In his to OIC Secretary General, Yousef bin Ahmad Al-Othaimeen,
the veteran Hurriyat leader wrote that the recent spate of military
action against the Kashmiri militants had brought to fore allegations
of use of chemical weapons by the Army.

Had the security forces used chemical weapons there would have
been a clear proof and the doctors may  have disclosed it before it
struck the mi nd of Geelani Sahib.

“People of are yearning for their right to
self-determination for more than seven decades despite the fact that
countless resolutions have been passed by the UN Security Council in
favour of conducting a plebiscite in Jammu Kashmir,” Geelani wrote in
the letter.

He mentioned in letter that all these resolutions had been disregarded
by New Delhi by exhibiting utter disregard to the sanctity of the
Institution of United Nations and well established canons of
international law.

“Kashmir issue is not a territorial problem rather it is a humanistic
issue concerning the future of millions of Muslims who are staring at
an impending disaster in the face of the brutal occupation by the
Indian state,” Geelani wrote. “This brutal repression has reached its
crescendo owing to the recent escalation of repression by the state
apparatus.”

The octogenarian leader wrote to the OIC Secretary General that
Kashmiris were bearing the onslaught of this spate of “state
repression” be it disproportionate use of force against peaceful
protestors, wanton use of the pellet guns which has partially or fully
blinded thousands of children and killing of hundreds of civilian.

Writing a letter, based on propaganda, to the OIC has no meaning
because India is not a member of the OIC and whatever the OIC
decisions India is not bound by those decisions.(KIP)
