‘Spread of Yoga education need of hour’

Tawi, July 18:  Yoga is a powerful medium of individual mental peace and also brings peace in the society. In the prevalent situation spread of Yogic is need of the hour. This was the consensus of the high profile meeting of the heads and representatives of various Yoga Organizations functioning in the state. This special meeting was organized by Senior BJP leader Adv. Chander Mohan Sharma who is also Convenor of Coordination Committee of Yoga activities in the state. The participants include Mahavir, Sat Pal Sharma, Chief Pattern and President Bharat Yog Sansthan, Sudha Chander Sharma Chief Organizer Bharat Swabhiman Trust, Dr. T.R. Raina Coordinator of Morarji Desai Yoga Foundation, Shriansh Jain of Vichar Kranti Manch , Govind Sareen Convenor Cell of BJP, Dr. Neelam Khajuria Yoga Exponent, I.M. Singh and Chander Sheikhar.

Dr. T.R. Raina said that advance Yoga Centre which was started in Medical College Jammu was closed and its should be stated again and staff including trainers should be recruited for that. He also strened the need of opening similar advance yoga centres in other Medical Colleges of the state.

Chander Mohan Sharma, in his speech said that BJP has already agreed to start International Yog Centre at Mantalayi (Udhampur). There is need of introducing Yogic Training in schools and belt forces of the state. He stressed need of creating yoga parks in Jammu city and also in rural areas.

Concluding the meeting, BJP State General Secretary (Org.) Ashok Kaul who was the Chief Guest, said that BJP will strive for spreading Yoga education all over the state. The matter will be taken up with government to train, Anganwadi, ASHA workers and physical teachers of education department so that their services are used for spread of the yoga training all over the state.
