SKOCH confers Award to JK Bank

Srinagar, Dec 23: SKOCH – a leading consultancy group dealing with socio-economic issues in with a focus on inclusive growth, conferred an Award in Banking and Finance Silver Category to J&K Bank for establishment of thirty-five J&K Bank Easy Payment Units in Region which the group termed as a revolutionary inclusive banking and rural expansion. The Award was received by J&K Bank's Chairman and CEO Parvez Ahmed at the 55th SKOCH Summit held at the Constitution Club of India, New Delhi.
The award was conferred by the Chairman, SKOCH Group Sameer Kochchar, Managing Director & Editor SKOCH Dr Gursharan Dhanjal. The Summit was inaugurated by Suresh Prabhu, Union Minister for Commerce & Industry and Civil Aviation who was conferred the Golden Jubilee SKOCH Challenger Award, 2018.
The Bank also received two Order of Merit citations having been rated and qualified on three parameters; early evaluation, jury evaluation and popular vote which were received by Parvez Ahmed in the presence of President & Zonal Head Ladakh Chetan Paljor and Zonal Head Delhi Fayaz Siddiqui.
While dedicating the recognition to the people of Leh-Ladakh, Chairman JK Bank reiterated Bank's commitment to serve the people to the last mile through its round the year services regardless of climatic or topographic challenges.
