Minor girl killed in accident

Kathua, June 12: Furious over the death of a minor girl in a road accident, locals set a passenger matador of Kathua-Nagri route on fire in Kathua on Sunday. According to reports, a passenger matador bearing Registration No. JK08A-2463 crushed a seven years old minor girl Vishali, D/o Balwinder, at Nagri on Sunday in which she died on the spot consequent to which the locals set the vehicle on fire. Meanwhile, driver of the matador fled from the spot. Police team from concerned police station rushed to the spot and dispersed the protestors. Later, a case was registered in this regard under relevant sections and action has been initiated to nab the culprit.
