, October 19 (KIP):- Indian troops, deployed on the LOC, and the
IB, guarding the IB in Jammu and were being  readied for
meeting any challenge from across the border.

which may lead to added tension on the border. Troops and the BSF were
being given all latest weapons and gear so that they are ready to meet
any challenge from the Pakistani troops.

In the meantime he US has asked Pakistan to dismantle the
terrorists camps and stop exporting terror to India which could lay
the basis for the resumption of  bilateral dialogue which was
necessary for restoring peace to Kashmir and for reducing t tension on
the border.

Official sources said that if need was felt additional
companies would be deployed on the LOC and on the IB to meet any
threat from Pakistan. Asked whether India was scared olf Pakistan's
nuclear weapons they said that India has better nuclear and missile
power and hence India had no scare from Pakistan.

Pakistan as it had done in the past four wars where Pakistan had to
