Jammu, Mar 13: Ajaz Mushtaq won under-23 age group title in District Ganderbal Cycling Championship which was organised by District Ganderbal Cycling Association at Manigam in Kashmir. Over 30 cyclists took part in this event covering 14 kilometers of distance spread over eight laps in different age groups. Zameer Ahmad bagged second place while third place went to Mubashir.
In under-14 category, Zeeshan Mushtaq clinched first place, while Muneeb Mehraj and Shahid Bashir remained second and third respectively. Similarly, in under-17 group, Mohsin Manzoor secured first position, followed by Munazim Mushtaq, second and Wajid Mir, third. In girls section, Soliha Zahoor emerged winner.
Basharat Qureshi was chief guest in the finals while Naseer Mushtaq Rather (REK teacher GHSS); president Ganderbal Cycling Association, Muhammad Amin Lone; general secretary Ganderbal Cycling Association, Fayaz Ahmad Rather were guests of honour.
