Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU), Katra, has been regularly bringing the best of the Industrial exposure and employment opportunities to its students.Continuing with the same, the SMVDU managed to have Venugopalan C M, Vice President (Bosch), from the global manufacturing giant on campus. The Vice President (Bosch) visited all the schools, labs and oversaw other facilities of the university and delivered an expert lecture to the engineering students. Venugopalan has a special role in planning strategic management and leadership transformation in Bosch. He called on the students to focus on becoming able managers and motivated them to work beyond their classroom learning, while acquiring positive attitude and skills on latest areas in their specialization. Venugopal interacted with Registrar Dr. V.K. Bhat, Placement Officer B. K Bhatia and faculty members including Dr. M. Eswaramoorthy, Dr. Balbir Singh and Dr. Rakesh Jha. He also accepted the offer of associating himself as an Adjunct Professor in the School of Mechanical Engineering, SMVDU. Prof. Sanjeev Jain, Vice Chancellor, SMVDU, expressed his satisfaction over this interaction and hoped that this association would be highly beneficial for the university.
