Srinagar, Apr 20 (KNO): Continuing its efforts to reach out the families of slain and to remember the sacrifices of police personnel, Police in an initiative visited the family of slain SPO Abdul Rashid Gojree at Azadgunj Baramulla.
As per a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO), DySP DAR DPL Baramulla, Peerzada Aijaz and SHO PS Baramulla, Insp. Syed Showkat Ahmad visited the family of slain SPO Abdul Rashid Gojree of Azadgunj Baramulla, who laid down his life in safeguarding the integrity of the nation and for the peace and stability in the valley.
Police are always ready to lend a helping hand to the families of slain and assure that reach-out programmes shall continue in the district.
The family of the slain expressed gratitude and happiness for the police department for this kind and empathetic gesture.
