Air India faces Tyre burst while landing at Srinagar airport

SRINAGAR, JUNE 30: At least 149 passengers' on board Air plane had a narrow escape on Thursday afternoon, when the plane had a tyre burst during landing at the Sheikh ul Alam airport Srinagar. The incident led to closure of airport for 2 hours.

Officials said that the flight AI 3821 special charter carrying CRPF officials and personals that was coming from had a tyre burst when the plane was landing at the airport. The skidding of tyres caused little damage to the runway.

The airline, however said all the passengers that were onboard are safe.
