In IPL cricket, Delhi Capitals beat Kolkata Knight Riders in the super over by three runs in a thrilling match played at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium in New Delhi Saturday night.
Paceman Kagiso Rabada defended 10 runs in Super Over to steer Delhi Capitals to a victory over KKR.
Chasing 186 to win, Delhi Capitals were set up nicely by Prithvi Shaw's 99 off 55 balls but they could not score six runs from the last over, bowled by chinaman Kuldeep Yadav.
The Capitals ended their run chase at 185 for 6 in 20 overs, taking the match to Super Over.
Shaw missed out on his century by just one run but steered Delhi Capitals to the doorsteps of a win. Andre Russell's blisttering 62 runs off 28 balls and skipper Dinesh Karthik's 50 off 36 balls helped Knight riders to post 185 for 8 in Delhi.
In another match earlier, Kings XI Punjab defeated Mumbai Indians by 8 wickets. Kings XI Punjab lost only two wickets in achieving the target of 177 runs in Chandigarh. KL Rahul scored maximum 71 runs off 57 balls.
