Srinagar, Jul 1: The Counter Intelligence Kashmi (CIK) wing of Jammu and Kashmir Police on Wednesday attached the immovable property of former Kashmir Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KCCI) president Mubeen Ahmed Shah in connection with a 2020 FIR.
The attachment proceedings were carried out during a raid at Shah’s residence in Buchwara, Dalgate, Srinagar, in the presence of a revenue officer, officials said.
The attached property comprises 12 marlas of land located at Estate Buchwara.
According to officials, Shah has been residing in Malaysia along with his family since December 2019.
The action has been taken as part of the investigation into FIR No. 07/2020 registered at Police Station Counter Intelligence Kashmir. Officials, however, did not immediately disclose further details of the case. (Agencies)
