New Delhi, Jul 1: India’s Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections rose 13.9 per cent year-on-year to Rs 1,94,812 crore in June, reflecting continued strength in economic activity and higher tax compliance, according to provisional data released by the Finance Ministry on Wednesday.
The gross GST revenue increased from Rs 1,71,105 crore collected in June 2025.
Of the total collections, gross domestic GST revenue stood at Rs 1,34,774 crore, registering a 6.5 per cent increase over the corresponding month last year.
GST revenue from imports recorded a sharp 34.6 per cent year-on-year growth to Rs 60,038 crore, significantly boosting the overall monthly tax collections.
The latest figures indicate sustained momentum in GST revenue, supported by robust domestic transactions and a strong rise in tax collections from imports. (Agencies)
