Jeane Dixon was known for her syndicated newspaper astrology column, and her best-selling biography. She became known for a specific prediction she made in 1956. Namely, she said that a democrat would win the 1960 presidential election, but would eventually die or be assassinated in office. This man turned out to be John F. Kennedy.
However, she is also known to have made a number of wrong predictions, which led to the coining of the phrase ‘The Dixon Effect.' This phrase refers to people remembering accurate predictions, while completely ignoring the inaccurate ones.

While, no terrorist attacks happened in South Carolina or Georgia, but they did manage to predict 9/11, even though they were off by a couple of months.
