Turmoil in valley a Lashkar's job: NIA

, January 7 (KIP):  if the NIA is to be believed it means Chief
Minister, Mehbooba Mufti is correct when she held militants, Pakistani
agencies and separatists responsible for fuelling trouble in
in which about 100 people were killed in clashed between protesters
and the security forces during the last seven months.

The NIA had arrested Bahadur Ali from Srinagar and during
sustained interrogation in the union capital he confessed that he
belonged to the dreaded Lashkar-i-Toiba outfit and was tasked to fuel
    turmoil in Kashmir.

His handlers across the LOC had succeeded in pushing groups of
Lashkar activists to help Bahadur Ali to complete the task of
escalating the level of violence. These militant leaders actually
incited trouble soon after Burhan Wani militant commander was killed.
Handlers across the LOC had directed Lashkar and others to incite
people to violence because Wani was a local militant who had immediate
    relations in Kashmir.
Reports said that had not the security forces initiated tough
measures the situation would have assumed alarming dimensions. Several
hundred protesters were arrested which restored a semblance of calm in
    Kashmir.

Lashkar activists had been asked by their handlers across the
LOC that they should see that there was a lot of bloodshed and
violence so that Pakistani leaders got an opportunity to rake up the
Kashmir issue in the fora. And leaders and officials of
Nawaz sharif led Government raised the issue on the floor of the UN
and they motivated Washington to intervene so that reopened the
doors of dialogue. But as a tough politician Prime Minister,Modi did
not succumb to the pressure because he had conveyed to the
international community that India was prepared to reopen talks if
P:akistan stopped using its soil for exporting terror to India.(KIP)
