Stones pelted at Omar’s cavalcade

: Miscreants are reported to have pelted stones at the cavalcade of former Chief Minister Omar Abdullah in Chewdara Beerwah on Monday afternoon. According to sources, the former Chief Minister, accompanied by MLA Budgam Aga Ruhullah and his party's provincial chief Nasir Aslam Wani, were going to express their condolences at the death of party worker Ali Mohammed Mir.

A stone is reported to have hit the Jammer which was partly damaged, sources said, adding that the cavalcade passed without any further damage or injury to anyone.
