Jammu, Mar 12: Cycling Association of Jammu and Kashmir organised a two-day District Samba Cycling Championship under the aegis of J&K Olympic Association (JKOA) and J&K Sports Council (JKSC) at Vijaypur.
As per the details provided by the Association, over 40 cyclists participated in this competition in two age groups of senior and junior. Now, selected cyclists shall participate in the J&K (UT) Championship at the end of this month.
Priyanka Verma, SDPO was chief guest in the valedictory of the event while social activist, Deeraj Sharma was guest of honour.
The Results:
BOYS: Senior: Harsh Singh, Ist; Amit Sambyal, 2nd and Abhishek Mehra, 3rd. Junior: Saiom, Ist; Sunil Kumar, 2nd and Shubam Sharma, 3rd.
