Pakistan violates ceasefire on LoC in Poonch

Tawi: Pakistan yet again violated the truce by firing small arms and mortars on Line of Control in Poonch district.

“Pakistan fired unprovoked at forward Indian posts with small arms this evening at around 1800 hrs,” official sources here said. They said earlier they fired small arms but later fire heavily with mortars till 1812 hrs.

“Own troops retaliated effectively with similar calibre,” they said, adding that no injury of loss of life was reported in exchange of fire. Intermittent firing was in progress, they said. Earlier in the morning during wee hours, Pakistan fired few rounds at forward posts.
