No one attacked my cavalcade, report fictitious: Zahoor Mir

Date:

Srinagar, Feb 27 (KNS): MLA Pampore and MOS Animal Husbandry, Zahoor Mir on Monday evening rejected the reports of his cavalcade being attacked by people, saying such rumours were made by suspicious elements.

Mir told KNS over phone that he went to Ratanipora for a condolence meet and after he left, there were minor stone pelting incidents between the police party and few youth. “It was after I left the spot that a minor stone pelting incident took place. My cavalcade wasn't attacked by anyone. Those who spread such rumours on social networking sites have some hidden agendas behind. Press should ascertain the facts ahead of reporting them for public,” Mir said. (KNS)
