Jammu, March 17: A man with a slit throat was found dead under mysterious circumstances in the Chatha area here in the city outskirts.
Superintendent of Police, South Jammu, Ajay Sharma said, “A person identified as Balvir Singh of Chatha Fam was found in a pool of blood with serious injuries on the throat by some sharp object by an unknown person.”
He said that prompt action was taken by police and the body was shifted to the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Satwari, and an investigation has been taken up. (UNI)
