Jammu Tawi, June 17: Swarna Kumari, Chairperson of Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Ltd. in a statement today has accused the BJP leader and Vice Chairperson of Jammu District Development Board of illegal and unnecessary interfering into the affairs of Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Ltd (JWCCL) in league with the ousted former chairperson without any jurisdiction and in violations of court orders.
She said the so-called meeting convened by the ousted chairperson (Smt. Kailash Verma) who has been debarred by the court of law from any interference in the working /activities of Jammu Women Credit Cooperative Ltd. in any manner.
The meeting called by the unauthorized persons falsely claiming to be directors of said JWCCL on 18.06.21 of branch heads of JWCCL is illegal and in violation of the directions of the court.
She warned the Branch-heads & members of JWCCL not to be misled and refrain from attending any such meeting called by said unauthorized & illegal persons in terms of bye-laws/constitution of the JWCCL. She further said that the matter has been brought to the notice of the Registrar Cooperatives J&K for appropriate & necessary action against such mischief by the defaulters.
It has also been claimed in the statement that Sh. Suraj Singh (Vice-Chairperson) Jammu Distt. Development Council and leader of JK BJP had illegally convened a meeting on 10.6.21 and also attempting to convene another meeting on 18.6.21 against the directions of the court. The attempt of holding such an illegal meeting of JWCCL members/branch heads by the said unauthorized persons attracts the contempt of the court and against the interest of the cooperative society.
The chairman has enquired into the false promises/commitments made by said Sh. Suraj Singh (Vice-Chairperson) Jammu Distt. Development Council and leader of JK BJP and brought the same to the notice of BJP High Command, as such, she has made an appeal to all the concerned members/branch heads of JWCCL not to attend any such meeting called by said, unauthorized persons.
