HYDERABAD: A 27-year-old techie from Jammu Division's Samba District, working with an MNC in Hyderabad, allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from a ceiling fan on Wednesday.
According to Gachibowli police, the woman (name withheld) from Mandi Thalora in Samba district had been working in the city for the last one-and-half years.
She was living in Nanakramguda along with two others. A little after noon on Wednesday, her friend (name withheld) reached her flat to meet her. When she did not respond to knocking, he barged in only to find Sambyal hanging from the fan.
Cops wait for parents to get details
Though he rushed her to a private hospital, doctors declared her brought dead, Gachibowli inspector Suresh said.
“Reason for her suicide is yet to be ascertained. Though she had two roommates one of them is in Delhi, while the other was at work when the incident happened. We are waiting from her parents to arrive to gather more details,” the police official said.
Her parents are currently in Jammu & Kashmir.
