Tawi| June 30:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that India's COVID situation is very stable as compared to other countries.

“In comparison to other countries across the globe, India is still in a very stable situation, in the battle against Covidd-19. Timely decisions and measures have played a great role,” PM said.

“We have to give extra attention to containment zones. We'll have to tell people who are not following rules,” PM added.

PM Modi expresses concern over the negligent behaviour being observed ever since Unlock 1 began.

He extended Garib Kalyan Yojna to provide free food to poor till November.

“We have decided to expand the PM Garib Ann Yojana till the end of November: PM Modi; this scheme which gives benefits to 80 cr people will continue till Nov,” he said.

“Every person of the family will get 5kg wheat or rice free of cost; every family will get free 1 kg chana. More than ₹90,000 cr will be spent on this scheme,” PM informed.
