Farooq has lost balance of mind, talking in frustration: BJP

Srinagar, Feb 25 (KNS): In a sharp reaction Farooq Abdullah's statement about the stone pelters and the militants in BJP, coalition partner of PDP has accused Farooq Abdullah of trying to befool people ahead of parliamentary bye-elections to Srinagar and Anantnag parliamentary constituencies and proposed elections for Panchayats.

Talking to KNS over phone, BJP State general secretary Ashok Koul said that Farooq found nothing wrong when his son Omar Abdullah was a minister in the BJP government headed by Atal Bihari Vajpayee but now when PDP is in alliance with BJP Farooq Abdullah tends to show his sympathy with the stone pelters and militants in Kashmir only to regain the lost ground ahead of parliamentary bye-elections in Kashmir.

Saying that in old age Farooq Abdullah has virtually lost balance of mind, Koul said Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti recently held a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Central government didn't say anything against the political engagement in Kashmir. He said BJP is committed to implement the Agenda of Alliance and fulfill all the promises made to the people under the leadership of Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti and Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
