Srinagar, Apr 12: In a major step towards intensifying its fight against drug trafficking and abuse, Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Kashmir deployed highly trained dog squad to combat narcotics menace.
The newly inducted sniffer Dog Safa (Narcotic) trained in advanced narcotics detection will play a pivotal role in identifying and locating illegal drugs such as Heroin, Cannabis, Opium and other banned substances. These highly skilled canines will be deployed at key locations, including checkpoints, airports, border areas, and during raids on suspected drug hubs, a police spokesman said in a statement issued to the news agency.
This initiative underscores ANTFs commitment to eradicating the drug menace and ensuring a safer, drug feed society in the region, police said—(KNO).
