AI startup bags $7 million to help businesses accelerate sales

Date:

Sales teams across companies are continually seeking newer and smarter ways to improve their processes and boost performance. An AI startup believes it has found an innovative solution to address this growing need. OrbitShift, an artificial intelligence startup focused on assisting sales organizations, has recently secured $7 million in seed funding to further advance its sales productivity platform.

Founded in 2022, OrbitShift has developed an AI-powered platform that equips sales representatives with actionable insights and customized recommendations at each step of the client engagement process. From initial account and planning to responding to requests for proposals and generating targeted pitches, the startup's tools are designed to streamline workflows and optimize outreach.

As part of the latest funding round led by Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm Peak XV, OrbitShift will direct resources towards expanding its client base within the lucrative US market. The startup will also invest in developing additional product capabilities on its platform. Speaking to sources, OrbitShift's co-founder mentioned being encouraged by the enthusiastic response from leading enterprises and looking forward to helping more sales teams improve performance through innovative AI solutions.

By automating repetitive tasks and surfacing real-time insights, OrbitShift claims its platform can reduce the time sales teams spend on research and planning by 40-50% while boosting productivity by 20-30%. These efficiencies allow representatives to engage clients more meaningfully and focus on value-adding activities central to closing deals. If successful in fulfilling this vision, the startup is well-positioned to emerge as a powerful ally for businesses seeking to maximize revenue through optimized sales processes.
