Soldier killed in accidental fire in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: An Army soldier killed in an accidental fire of his weapon in the Chatroo area of Kishtwar district on Tuesday. According to official sources, the soldier, identified as Sat Ganam Singh (son of Balkar Singh), was injured when his rifle went off accidentally, causing serious wounds. The soldier was quickly evacuated to the hospital for treatment, but doctors declared him brought dead upon arrival. Sat Ganam Singh hailed from New Dewan Grah Chakrohi in Suchitgarh, Jammu. A case has been registered by the local police, and an investigation into the incident is underway to determine the circumstances surrounding the accidental discharge.
