Ranaut and Paswan reunite warmly in the Parliament building

Date:

Elected representatives and former co-stars Kangana Ranaut and Chirag Paswan were recently spotted together at the Parliament building in New Delhi, reuniting supporters of their 2011 film. On Wednesday, the two Members of Parliament were filmed greeting one another warmly outside the legislature, sparking buzz among those who recalled their shared screen time over a decade ago.

In footage circulated online, Ranaut and Paswan could be seen exchanging greetings that included hugs and smiles as they headed towards the Parliament premises. Their cheerful interaction was picked up by onlookers and led to positive comments from audiences who had seen the stars appear jointly in a movie prior to embarking on separate political journeys. Both politicians chose traditional Indian attire for their parliamentary duties, with Ranaut in a yellow sari and Paswan in a kurta-jeans combo.

Fans commented on the apparent camaraderie between the former co-actors, now colleagues in the governing body. References were made to seeing them reconnect like old friends united once more. Others remarked on their body language conveying delight at crossing paths again in the hallowed halls of 's lawmaking establishment. This wasn't the first reunion either, as an earlier chance meeting similarly brought smiles and was captured for social platforms.

Ranaut and Paswan shared the screen over a decade ago in a romantic drama that unfortunately did not find commercial success. While that was Paswan's sole starring movie, Ranaut went on to greater acting heights and accolades. Now both serve the public from the highest levels of government after recent election victories. While one focuses on her busy schedule of upcoming films, the other remains devoted to responsibilities in the legislature. Their renewed association indicates the enduring bond between colleagues who first knew each other as creative collaborators.
