Jammu, Mar 17: Representing University of Jammu, Mohd Irfan of Poonch won silver medal in the All India University Kick Boxing Tournament which held at Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University Jaunpur.
A fifth semester student of Shri Krishan Chander Government Degree College Pooch, Ifran has become first athlete from district Poonch.
Principal of the College, Dr. Jasbir Singh congratulated Mohd Irfan for bringing laurels to the institution. He also appreciated the efforts of college sports department, especially, Physical Training Instructor (PTI), Mukesh Kumar in taping and nurturing the talent.
