Jammu Tawi, May 10: In a major blow to terrorist activities, an operation launched by Army with Jammu and Kashmir police on Tuesdayachieved success when a hideout with warlike stores and equipment was busted.
Based on specific inputs a joint operation between Army and police was launched in Belni forest of Poonch Sector. After a detailed search a hideout was uncovered.
One AK Universal Machine Gun with Drum Magazine, Ammunition, two Pistols, Foreign Grenades, High power radio transceivers, RPG head, Detonators, Stick explosive etc. were recovered successfully.
The area was under further search to sanitize and secure the surrounding areas.
