Srinagar, Oct 23 (UNI) An overground worker of ‘The Resistance Front’ was arrested in Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Saturday, police said.
They said the OGW identified as Farooq Ahmad Malik of Kitchama Baramulla was arrested along with a hand grenade, two pistol magazines and 16 live rounds.
He said the individual is OGW of active militant Hilal Ahmad Sheikh resident of Shrakwara Kreeri, Baramulla.
Police had registered a case under sections of Indian Arms Act and UA(P) Act in Police Station Sheeri and investigation has been set in motion.
