Police withdraws 88 vehicles from legislators

Tawi, 12 Jan: Jammu and Government today said that the State Police Department has withdrawn 88 vehicles from the legislators.

“The Police Department has withdrawn 88 vehicles from various legislators,” Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, who is also in-charge Home, in a written reply, has said to the question raised by the NC MLC Shahnaz Ganai.

The reply further said that out of total 88 vehicles, 17 have been deployed with other proctetees, 58 vehicles have been kept in Police Central Stores at Srinagar and Jammu.

“The remaining 13 vehicles are lying at Central Pool Jammu and Srinagar as ‘reserve',” said the in-charge Home.
