Over 300 terrorists flee from training camps in PoK following surgical strikes

Anticipating a counter strike from Pakistan in retaliation to the surgical strike, Home Ministry has declared five states on alert and has fortified its vigil.

Following the surgical strikes that wiped out eight terror launch pads along the LoC on Thursday early morning, is anticipating a strike by Pakistan-based terror outfits.

On Friday, the Home Ministry issued an alert to up the ante against any such strike. The government has taken measures to amp the vigil at strategic locations including crowded place, airports, government buildings and historical monuments.

Delhi, Punjab, Rajasthan, Maharashtra, Gujarat, and and Kashmir have been identified as possible targets. The authorities have been alerted and have been asked to exercise caution. According to sources, Pakistan's ISI likely to direct armed terror cells to carry out strike in Delhi.

Army chief, Gen Dalbir Suhag reaching northern Command headquarter, Udhampur to have first hand information about preparedness of army on line of control after surgical operation done by our troops in Pakistan area.

Northern army commander, Lt Gen DS Hooda will brief him about high security preparedness on line on control in Kashmir as well as in Jammu. After spending some time in Udhampur , he will visit western command, Chandimargh, where Lt Gen Surinder Singh brief him about border situation in Punjab and preparedness.

  • Apart from Fidayeen, the government is also considering Pakistani terrorists who have infiltrated India.
