Recently the survey ‘Global Leader Approval Rating Tracker', was conducted by an American data intelligence firm Morning Consult, which tracks approval rating from leaders from 13 countries — Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, , Italy, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States — on a weekly basis.

No doubt, PM   Modi's global approval rating has fallen to 66 percent, down from a previous 75 percent, however, it is still higher than world leaders from 13 countries, including the Joe Biden of United States, Vladimir Putin of Russia, Emmanuel Macron from France and Germany's Angela Merkel.

In an exclusive interview with NDTV's NamrataBrar, Cisco's Executive Chairman John Chambers says Prime Minister NarendraModi is the leader of the century, and has in the last two and a half years laid the foundation for the next 20 years of growth. His concerted efforts to ‘Make in India' and making India self-reliant (Aatmanirbhar Bharat), while constantly striving to present a more robust and assertive India on the world stage.Hecommitted to supply vaccines not only to the Indian population but also to neighbouring countries and the world at large. This contrasts with the approach of rich countries that are intent on buying up vaccine supplies for their own populations only.Notably, the prime minister's approval rating was as high as 84 percent on 2-3 May, 2020, months after the COVID-19 pandemic started. It was at 82 percent in August 2019, three months after his reelection as India's prime minister.

As per the Survey the second position was bagged by Italian Prime Minister Mario Draghi (65 percent), followed by Mexican President Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador (63 percent), Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison (54 percent), German Chancellor Angela Merkel (53 percent), US President Joe Biden (53 percent), Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau (48%), UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson (44 percent), South Korean President Moon Jae-In (37 percent), Spanish Spain Pedro Sánchez (36 percent), Brazilian President JaireBolsonaro (35 percent), French President Emmanuel Macron (35 percent) and Japanese Prime Minister YoshihideSuga (29 percent).

Prime Minister NarendraModi has been declared as the winner of a reader's poll for world's most powerful person 2019 conducted by a leading British magazine. As per the magazine, more than 25 world leaders were nominated in the reader's poll and four candidates were finally selected for the final round. These leaders were Prime Minister NarendraModi, Vladimir Putin, Donald Trump, and Xi Jinping. While Trump won 21.9% of the reader's vote, Chinese premier won 18.1% votes. The result of the polls was a clear message of PM Modi's massive global appeal and the power and position India has exerted in the platform under PM Modi. Modihad  won a thumping victory in the LokSabha polls and became the Prime Minister consecutively for the second time. His global image has by far been impressive with big world leaders calling him a close friend. Modi has been rated highest among global leaders, as per the research by an American firm. According to news agency PTI,  over 75 per cent people approve of PM Modi while 20 per cent disapprove, putting his net approval rating at 55 per cent. This is higher than any other world leader the firm track

Mod deserves praise for getting a nation of 1.3 billion to follow harsh lockdown rules to setting India on the path to developing and distributing indigenous Covid-19 vaccines,  Modi dominates India's political landscape more than ever since he took charge seven years ago.Modi's governance mantra has a distinctly Indian idiom. This is clearly evident in his government's approach to the Covid crisis that has brought even some of the most developed nations in the world to their knees. There is no doubt that ever since the Modi-led government came into power, people's trust in the government and the faith that nation is progressing in the right direction has risen drastically. Nation has confidence in its leadership in an extraordinary situation due to a pandemic. Every Indian is feeling safe and trusts his leadership.
