Calling ‘Tableeghi Jamat' a gateway of terrorism Saudi Arab has imposed the ban on it. Expecting from its followers to strictly follow injunctions of Sunni Islam without using their intellect, in this organization there is no place for other streams Islam composed of. The step excited the speculation that other countries too might follow the suit against this organization came into being 100 years ago in India.
However, the past of the organization is full of amazing instances of its followers and leaders' fanciful behaviors demonstrated in the fads of supernatural belief-system untenable to the modern scientific mind. Patronized by the ‘Secular-forces' of the country, calling the corona a conspiracy of Modi, how they went against the system fighting against pandemic the memory of that is still fresh in the minds of the people. During that period even there grew a sizeable number of the people inside the country who were crazy after the videos flooding from the Pakistan. The videos were based on the jokes on corona meant to undermine the gravity of lockdown. And one Pakistan-based Moulana sahib [clergy] of Tableeghi mindset, meanwhile, gained much limelight through his rabidly funny statement, which he made in full public gathering, country's head being present there. He held that it is due to receding clothes and increasing immodesty among the women; and falsehood, deceit and dishonesty among the people at large that caused the disease, and not corona virus at all ! It is, however, said that later the corona infested the same clergy. And he could get himself free from it only after going through the treatment from modern medical science.
Meanwhile, a cabinet minister of Pakistan government unleashed the sensation through his tweet that the corona was spread by none other than Tableeghi jamaties. And it was when the head of Tableeghi jamat of Faisalabad subsequently died of corona that the Imran's government grew alert. To trace the rest of tableegies the government had to go to the extent of deputing the country's spy organization, ISI.
Obviously the action should have been taken against the jamaties long back. But, taking them for ‘non-conformists', the way the hatred and violence against Shias, Ahmadias, Hajras Muslims have begun to be rationalized religiously, the open minded section of the Muslim community seem to have learnt that now time has come to act against this tendency.
