    There’s Something Brewing In Pakistan

As the border, especially the LoC seems to be on a boil again, one cannot rule out that Pakistan seems to be plotting something big. In this context, reports coming from Rajouri’s Sunderbani Sector have once again confirmed that the rogue neighbour is cooking something devious as troops have opened fire on seeing a suspicious movement of terror mongers close to the LoC.

Today’s incident is required to be seen in connection with the recent unprovoked firing instances from across the LOC in Rajouri, Poonch and Jammu Districts because the recent spurt in such violations of the 2003 truce pact are indicating that days ahead could be challenging for the Indian troops as the exchange of fire along LoC has suddenly seen an unprecedented increase.

Considering the criticality of the situation along the borders one can say that the need of the hour is to remain on toes to stop the unprincipled neighbour from giving shape to its nefarious designs. One cannot rule out that after the security forces have eliminated most of the foreign terrorists in the region especially in twin border districts of Rajouri and Poonch, it is an attempt by the Pakistan to refurbish the presence of terrorists in the Jammu region to again restore reign of terror as it did in the past by spreading fear psychosis among the people through orchestrating terror strikes on unarmed villagers in remote areas of Poonch and Rajouri Districts.

It is praiseworthy that Indian troops have retaliated befittingly to recent unprovoked firing by Pakistan in Poonch sector killing several Pakistani troopers but what is more important is to decode as soon as possible that why the western neighbour has started violating the ceasefire agreement, which was rejuvenated sometime back, after PM Narendra Modi took over the reins of the country.

All said and done, the Indian army and the people helming the affairs of the country should not take such things lightly by simply stating that army and other security forces are capable of containing the enemy’s misadventures because it will not be in the interest of the country to take such things for granted.

It is advisable that besides giving a befitting response to Pakistan on ground, the government should also raise the issue at the right platform to expose the duplicity of the nation which is like a scourge for India since its inception in 1947.
