D'Souza has played an instrumental role in shaping Shah Rukh into the superstar that he is today by instilling important values during his struggling days in Mumbai. Known to be extremely close to his mentor, a visit from Khan could greatly lift D'Souza's spirits in his darkest hours. Laitphlang highlighted that a short flight is all that separates the actor from providing solace to the man who has left an indelible mark through his commitment and guidance.
