    Saisha is first Scuba diver from Jammu Kashmir

    Jammu Tawi, Aug 23: Saisha Gupta, a young teenage girl from Jammu, has brought laurels to Jammu and by becoming the youngest Scuba diver in the state. Saisha, a student of Hope Town School Dehradun, achieved the feat in the glistening and clear waters of Bali Indonesia recently. She was trained by Archana Sardana. Saisha, 17, achieving the feat and making and the country proud, has opened a new chapter in the history of water sports. Her getting the Scuba Diver's license would encourage the young boys and girls to participate in such adventure and water sports events. Scuba Diving is an immensely thrilling adventure sport and it is one of the exciting ways to explore the magical facets of underwater marine life and. Originally an acronym for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus, scuba diving today is widely recognized and loved water sport. Closer home, with the swiftness with which adventure is flourishing in India, you don't have to travel beyond waters of the mainland to enjoy this breathtaking sport. With a vast coastline speckled with island groups, exquisite beaches and captivating marine life, India offers great scuba diving opportunities. Scuba diving is useful in a number of applications, including scientific, military and public safety roles. Scuba divers are trained in the procedures and skills appropriate to their level of certification by instructors affiliated to the diver certification organisations which issue these certifications.
