The Returning Officers and Assistant Returning Officers were imparted training today for the phase V and Phase VI of ongoing Panchayat polls in the district under the supervision of Deputy District Panchayat Election Officer, Haroon Naik.
During the training, the participants were taught to understand their role and responsibilities during the entire election process.
A hand-on session regarding use, handling and sealing of Ballot Boxes and all the other basics of election process involved from Nomination till Counting were also briefed to the participants for smooth conduct of the Panchayat Elections in the district.
Nodal Officer for Training Management Fayaz Mehta briefed the participants about their duties and roles besides explaining all the key aspects about these elections.
Master Trainer, Lecturer Akhter Hussain demonstrated the handling of ballot boxes.
