Poonch prepares for B2B4 program; Arrangements for winters

POONCH, OCTOBER 17: Deputy Commissioner Poonch, Inder
Jeet today convened a high-level meeting of the District and Sectoral
officers to discuss the arrangements for the B2V4 program.

The Deputy Commissioner briefed the meeting about both events
and asked the officers to submit the reports as per Performa in view of
B2V4.
The Deputy Commissioner also discussed the arrangements
regarding the proposed VVIP visit to the district and directed officers to
work in coordination with each other to make all necessary
arrangements as per the direction.
Meanwhile, the DC asked the officers of different departments to
highlight their achievements, best practices, and targets of the previous
and current year and furnish the report to the Planning and the
Monitoring Department for evaluation.
District Development Commissioner, Poonch also a review of overall
winter preparedness in the district including power and water supply
position, availability of ration, fuel, LPG, Fire & Emergency Service,
Stock of medicine, Ambulance, 24×7 Control Room to listen to public
problems and other essentials, besides measures taken for snow
clearance.
While reviewing the status of power supply scenario in the district,
the Deputy Commissioner directed the XEN JPDCL to maintain the
necessary buffer stock of transformers at all sub Divisions and to keep
men and machinery ready for restoration of power supply in case of
disruption due to snowfall.
The DC asked the Assistant Director FCS&CA to arrange sufficient
stock of food and LPG in the district so that people do not face any
difficulties during winter.
The DDC directed the Chief Medical Officer to ensure availability
of medicine and sufficient stock of drugs, medicine, ambulance services
in the District Hospital and all Sub Divisional Hospitals especially in
Snow bound areas.
The Deputy Commissioner strictly directed XEN R&B Poonch, Xen
PMGSY,Poonch/Mendhar to keep men and machinery ready and to
maintain all road connectivity .
The meeting was attended by ADC, Dr. Basharat Hussain, Chief
Planning Officer, Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Zaheer Ahmed
Kaifi, Assistant Commissioner Development, Abid Hussain Shah, CEO
, Dr. Mohammad Tanveer, SDM Surankote, Chief Medical
Officer, District Information Officer, Vishal Deep Chandan, Chief

Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, SE PDD, XEN
PWD(R&D)/JAL Shakti/JPDCL and other district and sectoral officers.
