Poonch, 23 January: The District Police Poonch organized a grand Tiranga Rally today to celebrate the pride and significance of the national flag, with the aim of fostering unity, integrity, and patriotism among the people.
The rally was flagged off by SSP Poonch, Shafket Hussain , from the District Police Lines (DPL) Poonch, accompanied by SP Operations Sachin Gupta, Additional SP Poonch Mohan Sharma, and other senior officers of the Poonch Police.
The vibrant rally took participants on a route from DPL Poonch, moving via SK Bridge to Kalai and Chandak, and culminating at the Sports Stadium in Poonch. The event saw enthusiastic participation from members of the civil society, the media fraternity, and police personnel across all ranks.
In his address, SSP Poonch expressed gratitude to the civil society, media, and police personnel for their active involvement in making the rally a success. He emphasized the importance of the event in instilling pride for the national flag and promoting a sense of unity and patriotism among citizens.
