Jammu Tawi: Government Degree College (GDC) Paloura organized a symposium to commemorate Parakram Diwas, honoring the legacy of Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose on his birth anniversary. The event focused on the topic, “Subash Chandra Bose and his Contribution in India’s Freedom Struggle,” and was held under the guidance of Principal Dr. Kulvinder Kour.
The programme aimed to spread awareness about Bose’s life and his significant role in India’s independence movement. Students actively participated in the event, demonstrating their enthusiasm and admiration for the freedom fighter.
In her address, Dr. Kour emphasized the revolutionary ideas of Subhash Chandra Bose, urging students to draw inspiration from his courage and determination. She highlighted that Bose’s contributions not only impacted the youth of his time but continue to inspire generations today.
The symposium was a collaborative effort by the Departments of English and History at the college. The event concluded with a vote of thanks, reflecting the collective appreciation of Netaji’s enduring legacy.
