New Delhi, July 6: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has extended the deadline for NEET UG 2026 candidates to update or correct their bank account details for the fee refund process till July 7.
The agency said refunds have already begun for candidates who have successfully verified their bank account information. According to the NTA, only 8,29,510 candidates have updated or corrected their bank details so far.
Candidates who have not yet completed the process have been advised to submit accurate bank account information before the revised deadline to ensure timely processing of their refunds.
The refund exercise follows the cancellation of the NEET UG 2026 examination conducted on May 3 after allegations of a question paper leak, prompting the agency to initiate the reimbursement process for affected candidates. (Agencies)
