Srinagar:
The senior most staffer and the General Manager of the Daily Aftab, Srinagar, Ghulam Nabi passed away here on Monday.
He breathed his last in the evening at SMHS Hospital after a brief illness. The entire media fraternity of Kashmir and people from all walks of life have expressed condolences on the demise.
A dedicated worker who has devoted his entire life for the uplift of one of the oldest publications of Srinagar. The management and staff of the Northlines has expressed grief over his sad demise. The editor of the Northlines while expressing condolences said, “Ghulam Nabi – A humble gentleman who gave his life 24 x 365 to the remarkable institution of Kashmir raised by Rehnuma-e- Sahafat, Late Khwaja Sonna Ullah – another Faqir! May Almighty grant peace to the departed soul!”
