Jammu Tawi, Sept 02: Newly elected J&K High Court Bar Association, Jammu, today hosted victory lunch in the High Court of Jammu & Kashmir at Jammu which was presided over by Justice Tashi Rabstan as Chief Guest.
Function started with the presentation of bouquets to the Judges, namely Justice Tashi Rabstan, Justice Sanjeev Kumar, Justice Sindhu Sharma, Justice Rajnesh Oswal, Justice Puneet Gupta and Justice Javed Iqbal Wani.
The function was also participated by Advocate General, Assistant Solicitor General of India, Registrar Judicial, Retired Judges, Members of the Administration, Guests, Senior Advocates & former Presidents of Bar Association, Principal District & Sessions Judge, Judicial Officers and Office bearers other Districts Bar Associations. Apart from many Civil & Police administration officers also participated in the function .
President M.K. Bhardwaj, Senior Advocate said that the Bar will work to maintain a cordial relation between the Bench and the Bar, with a view for better functioning of judicial system and dispensation of justice.
Bhardwaj, requested the Lieutenant Governor of U.T. of Jammu & Kashmir and Advocate General, High Court of Jammu & Kashmir for sanction of financial help to the Advocates who have financially suffered a lot due to spread of COVID-19 Pandemic.
Surjeet Singh Andotra, General Secretary conducted the proceedings of the function and. Aditya Sharma, Joint Secretary presented the vote of thanks .
